Do take note that several factor will makes the result different such as the pan/utensil you used. Your definition of ‘medium/strong’ heat might differ from ours. How your meat was treated, or what temperature the meat is.

Sear each side for 1 min, total cooking time of 3 mins.
Pre-heat the oven, 180°C, transfer the meat into the oven for another 3 mins.
CHILEAN COD FILLET / NORWAY FJORD TROUT FILLET
Hot Pan with medium heat (fire)
Sear skin side first (1-2 mins or till skin is crispy)
Flip over and cook for another 1-2 mins (total cooking time of 3-4 mins)
Pre-heat the oven, 180°C, transfer the fillet into the oven for another 3-4 mins.

Transfer to pre-heated oven (180°C) for another 3 minutes
Low heat (no need to pre heat pan, no need oil)
Sear for 1.5 mins each side (total of 3 mins) or till golden brown
