Galbi/Beef short ribs is most used for Korean style bbq. Why? It is tender, juicy and flavorful. A premium marbled beef short ribs like our can be quick cook easily with just sprinkles of salt and pepper.
For a more authentic Korean experience, you can also marinate it first. We have a VERY VERY powerful marinade (made with with fruits, high quality herbs, seasoning). You can choose to buy the marinated version from us too.

Handling and storage

  • Cut/Processed by us instore, vacuum packed in 3 or 4 pieces.
  • This item is FROZEN, thaw it in chiller 1 day before.
  • Consume within 48 hours of thawing.
  • Best cook medium.

For searing/bbq (how we do it at our shop)

  • Sprinkle sea salt, black pepper and olive oil over the meat and gives it a good rub.
  • Put in hot pan with medium fire, flip it every minute for a total of 3-4 minutes
  • If you are cooking over direct fire like BBQ, make sure there is little to no fire, with intense heat, flip it every minute, cook for about 4-5 minutes.
